We welcome everyone to our workship service. If you are a guest, please introduce yourself to others, sign the pew pad, and come again next week. Union Lutheran practices open communion at our services and inviting all who are baptized and believe in the presents of Christ in the Sacrament to join us in the Lord's Supper.
Our congregation has established an "account" with the Miller Memorial Blood Bank. If you want to donate blood at either their Cedar Crest or Bethlehem locations, you may ask them to credit your donation to Union Lutheran. Disaster Response/Missionary Team
Each year a group of volunteers/missionaries from Union Lutheran Church devotes a week away from work and family responsibilities to spend their time working together in order to help others in need due to recent disasters. Select here for more infromation and pictures about this mission.

In order to provide pastoral care when you or a family member enter Lehigh Valley Hospital (17th & Chew or Cedar Crest), upon admission please give them our church code, #349. Please also contact the church office with admission dates. Pastor Dennis Moore or Pastor Jami Possinger will make routine hospital visits every Tuesday and Thursday.

Men's Ministry - Called "The Journeymen"
We have a large Men's Ministry Group that meets once month and is open to men who are interested. Some of our goals are to provide spiritural leaders for our families, to be faithful servants of Jesus Christ and to provide fellowship. The mission of Union Evangelical Lutheran Church is to work together to follow Jesus, teach the Word and to serve God's people with love and commitment in our growing and changing world.
Everyone is invited to worship with us, but if you would like to join our church we conduct New Member Classes 3 times a year. They typically are 4 session held 3 times a year on Sundays in September, January, and April. Members transferring from another Lutheran church need only to attend the last class that is a social. New members are received the 2nd Sunday in February, May and October. If you would like to unite with Union Lutheran, please call the church office for dates and times of our next session.
The Nursery opens at 10:30 AM to children ages five and under. If you wish to keep your child in church for the children's message, please register your child prior to the service The nursery is located in Room 204.
Chapel/Cry Room - If you have a crying child and need to leave the Nave, turn right into the Chapel/Cry Room. The room has a window with a view of the Nave and a speaker which allows you to participate in the service.
Parish Nurses - Bonnie Krause and Dorothy Bealer are available by scheduling time through the church office. Information and explanations of health issues on many topices are available as well as Blood Pressure screening.
Parking is available for about 195 vehicles. There are a number of handicap parking places directly in front of the facility. In addition, we have a large covered drive up entranceway for loading and unloading. Valet parking is available for our 8:00 and 10:45 services.
We have a daytime and evening prayer chain. This is a method of linking of members of the congregation via the telephone for the purpose of offering prayer for others. Prayer requests can have a name attached or can be anonymous (like a family facing a marital crisis). For daytime requests, contact Cathy Shaffer at 799-4506 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. For evening request, call Pat Moore at 610-395-0044 from 6:30PM to 10:30PM.

Our quilting group typically meets on Wednesdays from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM in Room 101. Experienced and novice quilters are welcome and we will be happy to teach you. Please bring your lunch. For more information call Ruth Hensinger 610-767-5219.
The Union Lutheran Retirees group typically meet the 2nd Friday of each month from 11:00AM to 1:00PM in Room 103/104 - see our monthly on-line calendar for exact dates. If you are interested in some fun and fellowship please join us. Contact the Church office or register via using our Ministry Response Card located in our pews.
We have joined the Whitehall/Coply Church Softball League. Games are held on Sunday evenings, starting at 6:00. It's a slow pitch league. Vacation Bible School is typical held for a week in August. We are always looking for individuals interested in being a part of a fun-filled, excitement-packed, entertaining week where the Good News of Jesus Christ is shared with all. We are searching for help with all age levels as well as people to assist in music, arts and crafts, recreation and snack preparation.
Family Volley Ball games are typically played every Sunday evening in the Family Life Center. See Church Calendar for times. There is also and outdoor volley ball court and the Family Life Center is equipped with a full basketball court.
WELCA - Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America - We meet once month, 2nd Thursday at 7:00 PM for Bible Study. We also meet quarterly for special programs and fellowship. This is open to all women who are interested. To join this group and to find out specific meeting dates and times, contact Pat Moore at 610-395-0044 or the Church Office.
We have a large Senior Youth Group and a Junior Youth Group. The Union Lutheran Church Junior Youth Group is composed of 7th and 8th graders. We meet on Sundays (September through June) from 9:15 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. in room 103/104. Select Here for more information about the Junior Youth Group
