Building Trivia

  1. The new worship facility is 30,000 square feet
  2. It will cost approximately $3.2 million.
  3. Completion is planned for December, 2000.
  4. The Sanctuary will have 575+ seats
  5. The Family Life Center will seat 400
  6. There will be 17 Classrooms and administration offices
  7. The parking lot will hold 187 cars and will require 10,566 square yards of blacktop
  8. There are 10 separate heating and air conditioning systems
  9. The steeple is forty-five feet high with a cross at the pinnacle
  10. A total of 1042 cubic yards of concrete will be poured (equivalent to 101 cement truck loads)
  11. 76,000 pounds of steel reinforcing bars will be required for the footers and foundations walls.
  12. Wood Arches for the Sanctuary will be 40 feet tall at the peak.
  13. 172 wood trusses were installed to form the roof of the education wing
  14. 1006 sheets of plywood will be installed on the roof and walls
  15. 2000 pounds of nails were used to fasten the trusses in place and nail the roof decking down.
  16. 96,105 bricks will be required for the exterior walls
